2019 Program

The 2019 program for DATTA ACT was release at the Annual General Meeting (2018) and will include two visits to Questacon, University of Canberra – new industrial technology Faculty facilities, Canberra Institute of Technology – Reid and two school visits; Marist Catholic College and Canberra Girls Grammar School. The annual TECHnow Conference will take place in September with a different format including a Keynote address and 4 hour intensive workshops covering different facets of technology areas.

2017 Technology Teacher of the Year Excellence Award

Janette Kline – Daramalan College

The 2017 Technology Teacher Excellence Award was presented to Janette Kline from Daramalan College by DATTA ACT Life Member – Gayle Jenkins at the Yowani Country Club, Lyneham.

 


2016 Technology Teacher of the Year Excellence Award

DATTA ACT hosted the 2016 Technology Teacher Awards on Lake Burley Griffin in September. screen-shot-2016-10-17-at-8-57-11-pmThe announced of the awardee was made by Professor Lyndon Anderson (University of Canberra), Cathleen Jackson – Radford College technology teacher was awarded the top award for exception teaching.
